Some of you might notice who the substitute teacher is in today’s strip. It is none other than Usagi Yojimbo, the Samurai rabbit, from comic book fame. This year mark’s the thirtieth anniversary of Stan Sakai’s famous Samurai rabbit, and as part of this anniversary celebration, comic artists from all over are doing their own spin on his character, and through a joint collaboration with CAPS and Dark Horse Comics, a special commemorative book is coming out collecting these artist interpretations of his main characters Usagi, with all proceeds going to Stan and his wife Sharon in their time of need.
